We are officially on Christmas vacation! Yea! I'm probably as excited as the kids are:) I've got plans this week to finish making some gifts and just enjoy the holiday. My shopping is pretty much done, except for one gift and maybe a few stocking stuffers. I even have most things wrapped already!
So are you busy with lots of holiday cooking and baking? I've done just a little, but I'm hoping to do lots more this week. It's time to get started on what I'm making for our children's teachers at church and our neighbors. I'm still debating between cookies, pumpkin bread or a fresh loaf of sourdough bread. If you were my neighbor, which would you want? I'll take an informal poll:)
Some of you may be wondering how it went last week with planning my lunches. Well, I think I followed my plan for ...one day. I've realized that I just need to be flexible at lunchtime, because things come up or happen or don't happen. So while I am keeping lunches in mind, I probably won't be putting them down on paper yet.
Here's what's cookin' this week:
Monday: Cincinnati chili
Tuesday: {dinner at my parents'}
Wednesday: *Straw & Hay* Pasta
Thursday: Chicken Crepes* with green beans and roasted carrots
Friday: Pepperoni Stromboli
Saturday: leftovers
