They have changed a bit.... We were so very excited to start the moving process today, but instead were told we would need to wait until Monday. Things are a bit behind with our new landlords' move to their new house. I'm not sure who was more disappointed: me or Mr. B. He has literally been counting the days. That's okay though, it's just a couple more days.
In order to redeem the time and not dwell on the prolonged wait, I've decided to start our garden.
Yep, you read that right. I know we don't exactly have possession of our new yard yet, but I went seed shopping last night...sort of late. I just had the desire to browse the seed packets at the store even it was past 9pm:) It was fun! There were so many to choose from, I could hardly make up my mind!
I eventually narrowed it down to squash, zucchini, carrots, lettuce, jalapeno peppers, green onions, cucumbers, Roma tomatoes, cherry tomatoes and corn. Yeah, I know, that's 10 things!
I actually had seed packets for cilantro, basil and dill as well, but decided to put those back and buy the actual plants after we move instead. The seed packets probably would have grown way more than we needed and I can get a small plant for very little and it will be plenty for me to cook with. I still have basil in the freezer from my two little basil plants from last year!
Tomorrow (Saturday) I'm planning for us to make some of these little newspaper pots and start some seeds. I can't wait! I' m not too experienced with seeds~so feel free to leave some advice for me in the comments.

You are definitely on the right track with gardening. I need to get my seeds started as well. Seems we will be growing many of the same things!
