White Chili
1 lb. Great Northern Beans, pre-soaked
1 medium onion, choppped
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 (4 oz.) cans green chilies
2 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. oregano
1 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth
1 cup water

Put pre-soaked beans in a medium pan and cover with water.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat and allow to simmer 30 minutes.
Discard water. Cut chicken into 1" pieces and brown,
if desired, or simply put directly into crockpot.
Put all other ingredients into crockpot.
Stir to mix thoroughly. Cover and cook on
low for 10-12 hours or high 5-6 hours.
Serve with sour cream and shredded cheese.
So yummy!!

I usually pre-soak my beans overnight and then proceed the next morning with my recipe. I'm not sure what the recommended soak time is, I'll try to google that and find out if there's a specific time frame. Good question!!:)
