Almond Tea

This is a delicious recipe that I got years ago from a lady I worked with. It's wonderful for showers, luncheons, parties of all kinds! I made it twice this weekend: once for our 4th of July party and once for a baby shower.

Almond Tea
from my friend Sandy
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 (12 oz.) can frozen lemonade
(I like pink)
3 Tbls. instant tea
2 cups boiling water
Mix all of the above together and stir until well blended; then add:
1 Tbls. vanilla extract
1 Tbls. almond extract
8 cups water
Garnish with lemon & lime slices and fresh mint leaves.
Serve over ice and enjoy!

The tea sounds delicious - I'll try it next time my quilt group meets with me. I saw your picture at Lake Fort Smith. I have a son who lives in Fort Smith and we're thinking of camping at the lake soon. It looks beautiful! Blessings, marlene
