Fresh Figs: A Still Life

Note: I'm now looking for great fig recipes, as our tree is loaded!

Fig recipe - wish I could remember it better!
I used to make a lovely dessert with fresh figs filled with goat cheese and a few slivers of almonds - with a burnt sugar glaze.
Baked for a very few minutes in a hot oven.
Fresh figs are lovely - dried ones too rich.
Happy and peaceful weekend!

I forgot you had a fig tree. Makes me think of Israel again. =) Hmm...I see a running theme.

Side note: remember those little orange/yellow things in Mom's fruit basket we couldn't identify? Take a look at your photo...Hello, figs! haha

You know, I've only had dried figs...never a fresh one! They look delicious, though! I think Martha Stewart makes a fig tart that looks amazing.

What, do you have an orchard in your yard or something? First blueberries, now figs!

Sorry, I have no recipes, but beautiful pic!
