OH. MY. WORD.
Who knew that creating a new banner, and uploading a new template was going to be SUCH A MAJOR ORDEAL! Now I know why people get paid the big bucks for doing this.
My sweet and creative hubby made a new banner for me (after much begging), but then I had problems getting it to load correctly. It kept turning the background dark blue and making all the faces in the pictures blue. We were the Smurfs!!
So after a couple of days (yes, this has been going on for days now), he tweaked it a little and~voila!~it loaded with no blue faces! Yea!
Thank you, Sweet Hubby Vince!!!
Then came the (apparently) tricky part: uploading the html code for my newly chosen template. It took me forever to figure that out (I never said I was a computer whiz). Then when I finally got it loaded I still had the old dark blue down the center of my blog. Why, oh, why?!?
Well, by then it was 11 pm and I decided to call my sister--who is much more computer literate than I. After nearly having a few mini strokes because of minor glitches like disappearing blogs, we (as in: she) figured it out and now it's all finished!
Thank you, Kari!!!!
And goodnight, All!! I'm exhausted from the mental anguish.
P.S. Just wanted to add that Vince has recently started his own graphic art design/printing service. If you're in need of anything you can contact him at: farrelldesign@yahoo.com

Have a blessed and wonderful day!

Blue is your favorite color, right? Maybe that was some subliminal thing with the smurf faces...

congrats to all who worked it out.

As far as my assignment, I have to read an analysis by someone else of either Beowulf, Julian of Norwich, Margery Kempe, or Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. I will probably go with Margery Kempe. It was the easiest for me to read and recognize with!
great idea!
