October's Hunter's Moon

We are in for a spell of perfect weather now,
every day luminous, every night brimmed with stars.
Picnics at noon, supper by the applewood fire
at night, a walk in the cool moonlight before bed.

I don't usually get poetry, being a math geek and all, but I get this one, and I like it a lot! I love fall so much!

But honestly, it's already getting what I'd call cold here in the moonlight...or else I'm not acclimated enough...not sure which.

A blog reader sent me a Gladys Taber book, telling me that her writing remined her of my blog :-) I read the book I got right away and loved it!
