Menu Plan Monday: March 30th-April 5th

Ahhh...Monday morning. Time to get my dinner plans for the week finalized. It's so nice not to have to go to the store today, since I did that at the end of last week after getting home from our trip.

Tonight we're having friends over for dinner and we are looking forward to that! The nice thing about having to keep the house clean all of the time for showings is you don't have too much to do in the way of cleaning when you have friends over.

Monday: PW's pot roast with all the fixin's
Tuesday: baked talapia, baked potatoes, veggie
Wednesday: country fried steaks w/gravy, mashed potatoes, veggie
Thursday: beans and cornbread
Friday: homemade pizza
Saturday: picnic at the park with our small group
Sunday: overnight bbq beef
Now I've got to get busy for the day! Our Spring Break is officially over and now it's back to homeschool today.

I love organization and I am impressed by homemakers who plan menus...

Sounds like a yummy week you've planned; especially the baked tilapia!

Sounds yummy, Lora. I'd love to know how you make your country fried steak. I've tried a time or two but haven't found a recipe I like.

Believe it or not, I just learned how to make cornbread. We've ate it MANY times before, but I just learned how to make it and we are loving it!

By the way, I think this is my first time to your blog, feel free to stop by and say hello at my blog as well!

I'm a little embarrassed to say that the country fried steaks are from the freezer section and I didn't end up making them after all. They've been put on hold until a later day:)

I did watch a Food Network show recently where Paula Deen showed how she fixes it and it looked amazing!

If they're freezer section and they are good, who cares? Not me!

I'll see if I can look up the Paula Deen recipe though...
