Happy 4th Birthday, Mr. B!!!

Today my baby boy is 4 years old! We've been celebrating all weekend. Saturday we took a break from the unpacking process to have a family party at my parents' house. I don't know if I've ever seen Mr. B so excited~he looked like a pogo stick bouncing around the house:)
Here he is with his very special birthday cupcakes. He picked these out from the *Hello, Cupcake* book a couple of months ago and his choice did not waver. He was in the kitchen with me for the entire process, "helping" all the way. It was so cute!! The cupcakes turned out cute, too. I found the cutest party supplies at (of course) Hobby Lobby, too!
When it came time to blow out his candles, big sister wanted to get in on the action....
...but I'm afraid Mr. B wasn't willing to share his wish.
After cupcakes we had some fun playing with his new toys.

Mr. B especially enjoyed taking on his dad and uncle in a sword fight!
Happy birthday, my sweet son! I look forward to many more years of watching you grow and mature.

I am going to have to check out that 'cupcake' cookbook...it looks fantastic after the ones you did for The Princess and now these. I'm looking at the picture trying to figure this one out, and I can't completely. Very, very cool!

That sword fight looks dangerously similar to a whack that was filmed in one of the videos. I think from the Klondike bar, maybe?

Happy Birthday, Mr. B!!!

Happy Birthday Mr B! I have the same problem with my kids. The 2 who aren't having a birthday always want to *help*...usually the birthday child is not appreciative :) He does look like he had a great time, though!

P.S. I saw the cupcake cookbook at BAM last week on clearance and started to pick it up, but didn't. I think I'm going to go back and get it. Those cupcakes are adorable. What a great birtday!
