Kinda makes my degree sound less impressive. =)

Ha! I believe I would fail :)

Oh my word. I don't think I've even been taught some of those things! Thanks for sharing that, Lora. Very interesting!

No wonder girls were sometimes qualified to teach themselves after 8th grade. Honest, I would pass Geography and History but nothing else.

Wow! I would pass math, the others are iffy. I think I could get grammar, because the Abeka we use for the kids is awesome. I'd gets bits and pieces of the others, but I don't know if it would be enough to actually pass. All that and I have a college degree. Not sounding so impressive.

You know, this is probably the teacher's exam my grandpa took in the late 30's in Kansas to become a teacher before he was drafted for WWII. Then he ended up working for the Corps of Engineers the rest of his life and never taught. I have the paper that has his exam score. He did pass.

This is cool. Thanks for sharing it.

Remember that Grandpa had his eighth grade teaching license? Always knew he was smart. =)

I'd totally forgotten that Grandpa had his 8th grade teaching certificate! How cool!

A lady in my homeschool group shared this with us.
