O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at our house! I actually put up our family tree before Thanksgiving this year~a personal first. I was just in the mood, what can I say? I thought I'd show you some of the new ornaments that have been added to my collection this year.

My mom gave me this cute fireplace with our names
(I've smudged out the kiddos' names)

Isn't this beaded ornament that Vince brought me
from Guatemala just beautiful?!

I love this little ceramic bus that I picked up in
San Cristobal, Chiapas, Mexico this summer.

This is a sweet carved wood ornament from...
you guessed it, my sister!

This is a cute little pottery basket that
I bought on our trip to Kentucky this year.

Each year since my kiddos have been born I get a photo frame ornament for each of them to put on my tree. This year I decided to get unpainted wooden frame ornaments for them to paint for me. I thought they turned out SO cute~and they had such fun painting them!

The Princess' painted frame

Mr. B's painted ornament

So there it is, our 2009 Christmas tree. I hope you are enjoying the season so far, too!

Beautiful tree. I like collecting an ornament when I'm on vacation. That one from Kentucky is the perfect kind of souvenir.

I love the personalized dough ornaments. I started collecting them when Daks was born and they have their own special tree in the dining room. I also collect ornaments when we travel and they have their own tree as well. So fun!

Your tree is very pretty. I love the way you have it full of lights and ornaments. I've made and collected boxes of them through the years. It takes me hours to get them all on the tree. I finally finished decorating it tonight.

That tree is beautiful Lora!

I've been meaning to tell you that the ornaments you sent me last year are some of my favorites. This year I bought a smaller tree, some more of those ball type ornaments and they now have their own tree. I love it, and it makes me think of you and your kindness to our family last year during a very difficult time.

I hope you have a fantastic Christmas :)
