Sometimes I make a cute handmade tag. Other times I grab my....er, my hubby's... label maker. Here are a few of the things I've labeled around my house.
The laundry basket in the kiddos' bathroom:
The *outgoing* mail basket by the garage door:
A jar of sand and shells:
A jar of beach rocks:
Homemade spice mix:
Cute jars in the pantry:
My new bucket for my homemade laundry soap:

You are organized indeed! Want to come to Colorado and help me out??
Thanks for coming over to visit tonight. I see that you're from Arkansas - I lived in Heber Springs when I was a young girl. I want to go back there and visit one of these days.
We have the love of Boede Thoene in common!
Also - Anne of Green Gables (read them ALL), Jan Karon, and The Cat Who (Sorry they quit coming along!
Your organizing puts me to shame, Lora! I love your pretty labels, especially the laundry lable.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. To answer your question about the seashell wreath, I think it would look beautiful on a front door. On the wreath I posted, I used glue stick to adhere the shells to the wreath form. Glue stick is for indoor use and away from any heat source, (like heating vents or windows with direct sunlight); as the this may cause the glue to become liquid again, thus the shells may fall off. For outdoor use, I'd use a much stronger adhesive, like E6000 adhesive, or gorilla glue.
Be sure to post your photos when you finish it! I'd love to see it!
Cheers!

Label love....I "LOVE" the whole concept!
I captured a bit of the Irish Lore today in my SHOW N TELL. Do stop by for a wee bit o' the Irish Luck if you can!
I LOVE your labels...I'm totally a sucker for GREAT packaging and it's sorta like that! BTW, thanks for your sweet comment on my blog! ;-)
I love all your handmade labels! Too cute. Sheesh, with all the labels I have been seeing around blogland, I feel compelled to update the labels in my pantry. When I labeled my canisters, I used clear tape and a black marker and turned them toward the back! After all, I knew what the jars contained! But I am really liking all the labels I have been seeing.
Thanks for sharing yours with us today!

Great labels :)
I like that you added a little creativity to them.
I always imagine you very very organized and this confirms it. They are such cute labels. Adorable. I can't wait to read about the homemade laundry soap. You are so ambitious!
I love to label things too. The downside? When you get older your labels have to get bigger so you can read them. Then things just start to look "odd" labeled lol
