I have created a new little *space* in our learning room this year (and space is at a premium in there!). It's just a place to lay out several seasonal books to be handy for the kids to enjoy. Right now there are several great books there for the Thanksgiving season.
Thanksgiving Day Alphabet is a new one for us. The illustrations are really beautiful and I know it will be a favorite for years to come.
Squanto and the Miracle of Thanksgiving is one that we've had for several years and still love. It's a wonderful story (reminds us of the story of Joseph).
Sarah Morton's Day, A Day in the Life of a Pilgrim Girl is fascinating. My kids can hardly believe how hard she worked every day. It's a very interesting look into the life of a real Pilgrim.
Don't Know Much About the Pilgrims is a fun informational book I found secondhand. It has great illustrations as well.
Do you have a seasonal book corner or favorites that you like to read for Thanksgiving?
