Well, last week's dinner plans pretty much got tossed out the window! ha! And frankly, the week was so full and somewhat of a blur that I really don't remember why. Life just happened and things just came up.
So other than Monday and Friday nights, we did not stick to the plan. Oh, well. There's always next week, right?
This week will be yet another full week and I plan to put my slow cooker to good use!
Monday: {in Nashville--looking forward to some PF Chang's--haven't had some good Chinese food in a while!}
Tuesday: Fish n' Chips (new recipe) with baked potatoes
Wednesday: Baked Chicken Salad (recipe to follow)
Thursday: {small group night--our first one!} White Chili with Cornbread
Friday: Slow Cooker BBQ Beef sandwiches
Saturday: {possibly heading over to the Trigg County Ham Festival}

I'm enjoying cooking so much more now that we've made some huge progress in our kitchen here. Before it was just plain ol' depressing to be in (think: prison cell gray), but the new paint on the walls is very cheery and I love it! Watch for the post on my *new* kitchen soon!
