Last week's menu went great, especially those nights out:) Mom took us to several of our favorite places: Krispy Kreme, Cracker Barrel, Osaka's (a Japanese steakhouse) and Ricatoni's (a wonderful local Italian place). We enjoyed make-your-own-pizza night again and the white chili was a hit (as was the pumpkin carving party). Halloween day was so busy that we ended up grabbing a quick bite of fast food before trick-or-treating. That was certainly not my favorite dinner, but I had to get some "real" food in the kiddos before they started stuffing in the candy!
Here's this week's line-up:
Monday: Chicken Minestrone Soup (thanks, Betsy!)
Tuesday: grilled steaks & pork chops, baked potatoes (a sweet one for me!), veggie
Wednesday: black-eyed peas & ham, macaroni & cheese*, veggie
Thursday: small group night, Mexican theme--I'm making a Mexican Lasagna* (yum!)
Friday: steak w/caramelized onions, twice baked potatoes*, salad
Saturday: leftovers--if there are any, if not, then it's spaghetti & meatballs
Sunday: roast w/carrots & potatoes* (in the crock pot)
