Let me count the ways.....
A few days ago Kate at A Simple Walk tagged me to talk about my 7 favorite things about my kitchen. I do love cooking, so I tend to love my kitchen, too. So here goes...in no particular order...
1. my collection of antique blue and white plate all around my fir (fur?) down.
2. my coffee pot--we rendezvous every morning, at least twice!
3. the sets of pics of my kiddos on the refrigerator (ages: birth, 3 mo., 6 mo., 9 mo., 12 mo., 18 mo.). It's fun to compare and see how much they looked alike at the same ages.
4. my mixer--it's awesome! (and I think it's the same as yours, Kate!)

5. my Blue Willow dishes (and the kiddo's Edwardian Childhood pieces are there, too).
6. my huge Martha Stewart jar full of cookie cutters (we have so much fun with these!).
7. and last, but certainly not least, my cookbooks--I like to sit down and read them cover-to-cover. I'm weird like that.
So, yeah, I enjoy my kitchen and I love seeing and hearing about other people's kitchens. I'd love to hear about yours! Consider yourself tagged and let me know in the comments if you are blogging about it. I'll be right over!

I have put a mixer like yours on my Christmas wish list but not really expecting to get it.. My daughter in law has one and I have never had the real deal. For many years just using a little hand one but I do think I would get good use from one seeing I like to cook and my two daughters as well.. Also love your jar of cookie cutters, I bought a couple of cutters for Christmas I might just start a jar collection (It's a neat idea) I'm not to good at keeping up with my blogging but I might try and do your tag tomorrow.. right now its time for bed here..Sharon xx <><
I hope you get your mixer for Christmas! I was really blessed with mine: my former employer was remodeling her kitchen and wanted to get one in a different color. She knew how much I love cobalt blue and asked if I would want her old one--of course, I said "YES!"
I really need a big jar like that for our cookie cutters. I have two big old cracker jars that I think would work. Thanks for the idea!
I'm going to be posting a house update soon, but I haven't been moving yet.

I "read" cookbooks, too! I enjoyed the peek in your kitchen. I love your dishes! :-)
And yes, we do have the same Kitchen-Aid!
Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting on my holiday papaer crafts! I enjoyed browsing your blog and will visit again.
