Happy Monday, Y'all!
I hope you had a great week of dinners last week~dinners went relatively well here. Here's a new recipe that we really liked (well, all of us except picky little Mr.B:).
Slow-Cooked Sloppy Joes
(Tastefully Simple)
1 lb. lean ground beef
2 Tbls. Onion Onion seasoning
1-2 Tbls. Bacon Bacon seasoning
1 tsp. mustard
3/4 cup ketchup
1 Tbls. brown sugar
8 hamburger buns
*****
In a medium skillet brown the ground beef and Onion Onion over medium heat; drain. Place meat mixture in a greased slow cooker; stir in Bacon Bacon, mustard, ketchup and brown sugar. Cook on low 2-3 hours. Serve on buns. Makes 4-5 servings. *While I did use the Tastefully Simple seasonings, I would imagine you could actually substitute fresh onion and bacon bits.
**Also, this time I didn't use my slow cooker, I made this in the skillet and it was very quick and easy.
Monday: {dinner @ Shogun's to celebrate Vince's birthday!}
Tuesday: Spaghetti with Bolognese Sauce
Wednesday: {dinner @ PF Chang's to celebrate Vince's birthday some more!}
Thursday: Turkey Pot Pie
Friday: {small group night?}
Saturday: Waffles & Bacon
