This week's dinner plans are considerably more simple than last week's. I was a little exhausted from all the cooking by the weekend. Last week was good though, all of our meals were yummy. I tried a new seasoning for turkey burgers and we all really liked them.
Here's what's on the plan for this week:
Monday: I asked Mr. B for his dinner ideas and "baked potatoes" was his first response. He loves them! So we'll be having a Baked Potato Bar (reminds me of college days), complete with fresh chives from the garden.
Tuesday: Breakfast Burritos are a family fave, but we usually eat them at my parent's. So I thought I'd surprise Vince by fixing them at home this week.
Wednesday: We have sort of developed a Wednesday tradition: Tostadas. We all love them and it's sort of buffet-style. Plus they are so easy to make before heading off to church.
Thursday: I thought I'd introduce the kiddos to one of my childhood faves: Macaroni & Tomatoes--have you ever tried them? Delish! This will be a meatless meal. I plan to make whatever veggies I find at the Farmers' Market in the morning.
Friday: {small group nite} Deviled Eggs and Red, White & Blue Salad
Saturday: I always like a very easy recipe for Saturday nights, because I'm usually not in the mood to do much cooking after our weekend activities. We're having the Slow Cooker Sloppy Joes~everyone liked them last time. We'll have P-Dub's Onion Strings with them.
Happy Cooking to you this week!
