The Weekly Plan {July 8th}

Just a little note: I have recently created a Facebook page for my blog and I would so appreciate it if you would click over using this link or the box to your top right and *like* my page!  Thank you so much!

lovelies from my sweet neighbors' garden

This week has the potential to be a whirlwind so I definitely need to be organized!  Besides my regular dinner plans, I have a few other recipes that I'd like to make this week, too.

Things like Gazpacho and Hummus are on the agenda.  Also I plan to make some new things with banana peppers since I have had quite a few given to me.  I'd love to hear what you like to do with banana peppers!

Oh--and, of course, I'll be trying out some more gluten-free recipes also!  I am totally in learning mode with regard to that, but I'll get there.  Last night I tried gluten-free baking for the very first time and it was a success!  I'll tell you more about that soon:)

Sunday:
-Celebrating the Lord's Day!
-Lunch with new friends
-Afternoon downtime
-Dinner: Snacks/Leftovers

Monday:
-Dinner: Cuban Black Beans & Rice with stuffed Banana Peppers
-Planning meeting at Starbucks with our homeschool group's field trip team

Tuesday:
-Kids' activity at the library
-Dinner: Steak & Potato Scallop with Fried Zucchini

Wednesday:
-Bible Study at church

-Dinner: Homemade Pizza
-Dophin Tale showing at a local park at dusk

Saturday:
-Fun at the Land Between the Lakes Nature Station
-Dinner: Breakfast-For-Dinner

This post is linked to Menu Plan Monday at I'm an Organizing Junkie.

I need to eat my breakfast faster, your list makes my oatmeal pitiful! Question: what do you stuff your banana peppers with?
:)

lailani--
That's a new one for me, but I'm planning to use cheese and maybe some sausage or bacon:)

Cuban black beans and rice sound delicious! (By the way, I like banana peppers best just sliced and tossed on a sandwich. They're so sweet and crunchy and mild!)

I'm popping in for a visit from Organizing Junkie's Menu Plan Monday today!
You have a delicious menu planned. I love homemade Hummus! Oh, don't forget the pita bread.
I hope you continue to enjoy the summer in your neck of the woods.
Can you believe we were already at 101 degrees at 10am, in Las Vegas?!
