Before we left on our trip to Arkansas we noticed that a new resident had taken up on our front porch. Notice the top of the wreath.
Mama Robin (or so we suspected) was working so hard building the prettiest nest!
She had diligently mudded in her nest to secure it to the wall,
then she added more soft grass for her soon-coming eggs.
Today when we got home this is what we found:
