Hurt no living thing;
Ladybird, nor butterfly,
Nor moth with dusty wing,
Nor cricket chirping cheerily,
Nor grasshopper so light of leap,
Ladybird, nor butterfly,
Nor moth with dusty wing,
Nor cricket chirping cheerily,
Nor grasshopper so light of leap,
Nor dancing gnat, nor beetle fat,
Nor harmless worms that creep.
Nor harmless worms that creep.
Christina Rossetti
The Princess and I have been learning this poem during the month of April.

Is that what they're called?! They're outside and like 2" long!!! Hideous!! One once flew in the door behind me and I nearly had a screaming hysterical fit before I hosed it to death with a can of Lysol. lol!! Vince wasn't home or I would've made him do it-ha! The kiddos thought I had lost my mind:)
