It's that time of the year again!! I love getting all organized and prepared for the start of our homeschool year. What do you have planned for your homeschool curriculum this year? I'd love to hear from you in the comments!

I also have rising 4th & 6th graders, and I'm wondering... how do you FIT IN all these different subjects? We use most of the same curriculum, but we struggle to fit it all in each week - and we've been doing this "homeschool" thing since Kindergarten, so we're not new to this! HOW do you do it? :)
That's a good question :) And I have to be honest and say sometimes we *don't* fit it all in.
We generally do Bible, Math, Grammar, Spelling, and Reading every day. We alternate days with handwriting and keyboarding. We do science and history each 2x a week, alternating them. Then the rest I fit in when I can (music apprec., artist studies, PE, etc...). Often character studies are worked into our evening family devos and manners get taught during family dinners :)
I often feel as though I am not doing enough when I look at some other homeschool moms' curriculum lists, but I do what I feel is best for my children. And each year I learn something new and make some adjustments.
